Want to build a high-performance team?

If it has been a while since you have read The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni, I highly recommend you pick it back up! I have had several conversations with business owners and leaders recently and it reminded me how important these principles are for organizational success!

How have the 5 Dysfunctions improved the way you lead your team?

  1. Gain trust from your team - Don't be afraid to be vulnerable and share your mistakes.

  2. We need honest conflict - Once trust is built, conflict is the pursuit of truth.

  3. You can’t please everyone - Your team needs to feel heard and then commit to the path forward, even if you decide on a different path.

  4. True accountability - Accountability is critical and extremely challenging because it causes inner personal conflict.

  5. Select the right team goals - Clearly defined goals that are measurable, and everyone understands.
